David Bergman-Hill, Advisor
David is a commissioned minister of the United Church of Christ serving as Associate Conference Minister for Stewardship & Finance for the Northern California Nevada Conference. The Conference includes 130 churches stretching from Central California, north to the Oregon border and east to Reno. For the last nine years, David has supported pastors and churches with practical information about accounting and information systems, taxes, investments, loans and grants. He has also challenged them with theological questions relating to their faith and their finances.

Before serving the church, David worked for 5 years in public accounting and 19 years in corporate finance. He respectfully calls himself "a recovering CPA". He held positions from Senior Accountant to Chief Financial Officer in companies ranging from Price Waterhouse, Levi Strauss, Johnson & Johnson, Nellcor and Covalent. During one eighteen-month stretch, David made 12 trips to Europe to set up overseas operations. For the last 5 years of his corporate life, David worked with venture capitalists in the Silicon Valley to take companies public or restructure them for sale or acquisition.

David currently serves on the Board of Directors of three other non-profits.
